These terms apply when you use the Setload app and setload.app. Using Setload means you agree to them. Setload is operated by an individual developer (name disclosed without delay on request) ("we").
1. Training is at your own risk
Setload helps you log and share workouts. It is not medical advice, and its programs, targets and suggestions are general information. Check with a doctor before starting or changing a training program, especially if you have an injury or a health condition. Lift with proper form and a spotter where appropriate. Stop if something hurts.
2. Your account
Setload works without an account. If you create one, keep access to your email secure: anyone who can open your sign-in links can sign in as you. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time (see the Privacy policy).
3. Subscriptions
- Billing: Setload Pro is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and billed by them to your store account.
- Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancelling: manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds and trials: refunds follow Apple's or Google's policies. An unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
4. Your content
Your workouts, photos and the cards you make are yours. We only store what's needed to provide the service (see the Privacy policy), and we don't claim ownership of anything you create or share.
5. Fair use
Don't misuse Setload, including:
- attacking or overloading the service;
- reverse-engineering it to get around paid features;
- using it to break the law or infringe others' rights.
We may suspend accounts that do.
6. The service
We work to keep Setload reliable, and your data on the phone keeps working offline. The service is still provided "as is": we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we ever shut down the sync service, we'll give reasonable notice so you can keep your data.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injuries from training. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for Setload in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that can't be waived.
8. Apple and Google
These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. If you got Setload from the App Store, Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement also applies, and Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app.
9. Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live. If we change these terms, we'll update this page, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
